I love it! And I have serious garden envy right now... I have the window open to let some of the outside in, but that just can't compare.

It's noon. I'm getting dressed in a moment. No, I've not been lounging. I've been deep cleaning the kitchen -- scrubbing walls, cleaning the dog food dishes and containers, washing the light fixtures.
You're giving me inspiration! Isn't it fortunate I waited to get dressed?
P.S. A great, fluid white tee is my HEWI! Love yours!

Back in from the heat - Ooooh it's a hot one today!
Glad y'all like my casual outfit. This is the kind of thing I live in on summer weekends.
Joy - the gorgeous white flowering shrub is a Mockorange tree. It blooms for several weeks in early-mid summer and the smell is positively delicious. We planted it about 15 years ago and I'm so glad we did.
Thank you for the lovely comments about my garden. I do love to play in the dirt - after all, I am a farmer's daughter. It is the one thing I know I will miss with condo living but life is full of trade offs isn't it?
Just for fun I snapped a few pics of my yard of you care to have a peek. The last two are of a new perennial garden we put in this spring so it doesn't look like much yet. And the cobalt blue seating is a bench my FIL built about 50 years ago and when he passed away and the house was sold, it was the one thing my DS asked if we could have because of the memories he has of sitting on grandpa's knee on that bench.
Ok...sorry bout that. That's enough about me and my garden...

Great casual summer outfit! The shirt drapes beautifully on you, and you rock the faux tuck.
Your garden is lovely and inviting. Is that a wildflower garden right next to the brick walk?

Great garden. The bench is a special piece. Never let it go.

Windchime - good eye! That is a small wildflower garden. I enjoy having different types of gardens for different spaces within our yard.
Nebraskim - sadly the bench is rotting and I suspect this will be its last summer. It has served us all well for a long time.

This is such a great casual outfit. Lovely garden too. I adore those sandals on your pretty feet - and Go Team Wayfarers. Only style of sunnies that I will wear. xo

The outfit looks perfect for this weekend. I think it was finally summer. White always looks so fresh but in summer t's it is perfection.
It was darn hot and humid this weekend. I was out planting and had sweat dripping off the tip of my nose as I dug holes in the wet clay. Good exercise. I was thinking to buy a mockorange shrub for the back yard. Yours is stunning but I am glad I went with lilacs instead because although it would have been lovely, it would have been too big for the space.

Is there something like gardening chic, or so? You'll get awarded for this one, for sure! Your garden seems to be a great plave for winding down, love the welcoming inscription on that stone-and the blue chairs:-))
