WIW: New Dress to get back in the game

Haven't posted for a while - been very busy lately. Been missing y'all like CRAZY!

I had a quick 5 minutes before flying out the door this morning and wanted to post and show you my recently thrifted Cleo petite dress. I eyed this dress when it first came out and by the time I had gone to the store to try it on, they were sold out. Well this showed up at my local thrift store on Saturday in my size brand new with tags and I grabbed it.

I have a formal Board meeting today so will pop the blazer on over top for the freezing cold Board room and formality of the meeting, but otherwise will wear without the blazer.

It feels great to wear a bit of colour and pattern after not doing so for a while and I've fallen back in love with dresses again.

Anyway…gotta run. Will try and catch up later :)

    We have missed you! This reminds me a bit of the "magic" dress several Fabers got a couple of years ago. What a find! The electric blue is beautiful on you.

    Hi Shannon - so nice to see you back here again - I've missed you!  Great, bright dress for this cold early winter - and looks great with the blazer.  Funny, just yesterday I was pondering thrifting in Winnipeg and where the "best" scores are made. I donate a ton, but never shop myself. I have friends who, like you, find the best things in thrift stores. You must share your secret:)

    That is stunning! How do you do that?? You always look gorgeous but that is one of the prettiest dresses I've ever seen and I can't believe you thrifted that!!

    I don't know how you do it, but you truly are the thrifting queen.

    I have been missing you!  Fabulous dress.  Shannon, I would be attracted to this but no way could I wear it as well as you:)  The colours and the pattern are just stunning and I do love the jacket with it also.  WOW

    I would have replied sooner, but I had to fetch my crash helmet. That dress is GORGEOUS. It has Clover Canyon written all over it, and yet it isn't. Amazing and fabulous and gorgeous and my favourite colour and, and... plonk.
