WIW: Double Tassel Fun

Quick post and run this morning - today's outfit started with my LBD sheath dress. I wanted to wear flats as I'll be in heels all night tonight at DS's grad dinner & dance, so I chose my every so comfy gold metallic flats. Then I decided to play up the gold by adding my gold watch and a long gold necklace with a tassel at the end. For my handbag, I decided to go with my bright yellow clutch for a pop of colour and some double tassel fun.

Hope you like it! As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Jean jacket: Brody Jeans (thrifted)
Dress: Banana Republic
Shoes: Enzo Angiolini
Clutch: Gap
Necklace: Lia Sophia
Watch: thrifted

I like the black column broken up by your lovely tassel necklace and the bag makes for a fun pop of colour. Have a great time tonight!

Another gorgeous and sleek outfit. The flats are a nice touch and work great with the jacket. When I read "double tassel" I had visions of something Madonna-esque lol but I know you are too classy for that:).

Love the gold flats with the gold necklace and the denim with the black. Have fun tonight!

I'm not going to tell you what popped into my head when I saw "double tassels".... ;-)

Love this outfit Shannon, might just have to copy sometime (at least the dress and denim part).  And have fun tonight!

Shannon, this outfit is just perfect on you.  I hope you have an unforgettable evening.

Love the proportions of the short denim jacket over the sheath, and the flats are perfection.  Can you scrunch, rather than roll the sleeves?

Great idea to keep it easy when you have a big night coming!

Shannon, you almost fooled me when you said "double tassel". :)

You look lovely as always and that pop of colour really brings out the best in the outfit.

I too was drawn to the title of this post wondering what you could possibly be up to with 2 tassels. Lol
Very nice, I love the casualness of the denim jacket. Have fun tonight.

I really like the long necklace with your black dress.  The gold flats look light and summery with the black dress.  I hope you have fun tonight and I look forward to seeing your outfit for the big event.

I think the touches of gold and yellow with the black and denim look fantastic. Have fun at the dinner and dance tonight!

Big fun!  You just can't beat an LBD with a denim jacket, and your accessories are great!

LOL - glad you got a chuckle out of my double tassel title!

This LBD is really one of the best workhorses in my closet. I would love to duplicate it in navy and grey.

And I have been firmly convinced that a denim jacket is essential to my closet to pop on over top of my various dresses. I can't imagine not having one.

Thanks for all your lovely comments :)

Simple & classy - I'm feeling inspired to wear gold after seeing how good just a few touches of it look with this outfit.
