WIW: Attitude and Oxfords

Last time I wore this Attitude by Jay Manuel dress, Angie suggested I try it with my two-tone oxford sandals. Being a willing student, that's exactly what I've done today! I further played up the cream and caramel tones of the sandals by adding my snakeskin belt - I actually did the belt slightly looser than I normally would giving it a bit of a "hip slung" feel. Then I added my cream croc vintage bamboo handled purse and my gold mesh bangle for accessories.

What do you think? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Dress: Attitude by Jay Manuel
Belt: Olsen Europe (thrifted)
Sandals: Aerosoles
Bangle: Michael Kors
Purse: vintage

It all looks great! From the hip slung belt to the two-tone oxfords you look very stylish today :-)

Oh yes, so summery and polished! I love the abstract print in the dress --- it has the perfect scale! And a wrap dress, as long as you don't "flash" in the wind or when you sit, is one of the most foolproof silhouettes. Just the right amount of detail in the accessories set this look apart. Have a great day!

I think I must be alone in this forum for not really caring for those shoes. Sorry. I think it's just a personal taste thing.

Having said that, I really love this outfit. The dress flatters you, brings out your colours nicely, and you have, yet again, accessorized it wonderfully.

Love it! The light accessories are great with that fab dress! And oh my goodness I can never get over the fab purses you manage to find up there in the frozen North!! ;)

Love this look. The only thing I would suggest is not having the belt loose, it looks alright but in a way it looks like it's too big. I don't know that it would have stood out to me if you hadn't mentioned it though;)
LOL @ MaryK! I am way, way farther north than Shannon and we have had a scorching summer. However, November through about March I will not be laughing any more.

    Thanks ladies!

Sona - you crack me up! Thanks for the ditty.

JR - no need to apologize for having an opinion. We all have different tastes and styles here - that's part of what makes this forum interesting!

Tina - thanks for the comment about the belt. Maybe my experiment didn't quite hit the mark?

Shannon, you take my breath away! Everything is good, but that belt is so unusual and pretty. I like the slightly hip-slung look, it looks very balanced to my eye.
