What do you think of these jeans?

I've been toying with the idea of getting a pair of patterned jeans so that I could wear Angie's refined casual MOTG formula on Casual Fridays and weekends. I have my black patent booties, leather jacket and navy sweater to round out the outfit (among a few other pieces that could be interchangeable).

These are available on eBay as I'm still sticking with my tight shopping budget and are Joe's "The Skinny". They are a blue on blue baroque pattern and I think they are beautiful.

I guess my question is whether or not you think this pattern could work on my short legs and what the sizing is like for Joe's as I've never tried them on.

The seller is offering these at a good price (I've done my price comparisons), new with tags and offers a full return/refund policy.

Would love your thoughts.

They look beautiful Shannon. Una and Lisa own Joe's so they may be able to comment on size.

Love the color, Shannon!  I think the pattern might be better if it were a little less "directional" and had a little smaller repeat for a petite wearer.  Doesn't mean you shouldn't try.  What's the return process like?

Shannon, i am petite like you. I have 2 pairs of patterned skinnies. I think you will find those to be quite flattering. They are lovely arent they.

I think they are fab looking and can see you wearing them as you describe.  With the return policy there isn't too much risk?   Sorry, can't help much re the fit of this brand.  I think curvy?

I love them and I think you should give them a try!

They look pretty to me! Give them a try.

Well nothing ventured, nothing gained! I've ordered them and confirmed with the seller that they can be returned for a full refund (including shipping) - I just pay the return shipping, within two weeks of receipt. So really not much to lose.

    Thanks for your feedback :)

They are lovely and the print looks rich and subtle. I'd pounce I think! I just wore my new Joe's for the first time and I have to say, the fit is wonderful. They are slightly higher rise (like these floral jeans look) and feel great on. I hope these work for you!

ETA I forgot to say that I wear my regular size in Joe's.

Oooh, so glad you are trying them. They look fun!

I have been eyeing these in the cream and black colourway ever since Mochi posted about them. I might have to satisfy my curiosity!

Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh! I have to chime in here! These are a variation of the Joes I bought recently, after having fallen hard (see pic below). Yours are surely much more sensible, versatile and probably flattering than mine---I'd like to own both, of these, actually. I cannot wait to see how you wear these, Shannon, my jeans negative twin!

Oh, and I know you did your due diligence, but just to be sure, I'm passing along the 6pm link from whence I got my jeans. They are even cheaper now, by about $10. They're black rather than blue. I like both!

Claire - so glad to hear you took your regular size in Joe's since that's what I bought. And yes, the rise is higher (9.5 inches) which is great. I don't do low rise.

Nancy - I forgot you posted about these jeans - whoo hoo!!! And I just checked and actually the ones I've ordered are the black pattern - double whoo hoo!!!

Thanks for the input Thistle and Ceit :)

I'm 4'11, and I wear patterned pants all the time. I think you will rock them.

So glad you ordered these, Shannon. I seem to have good luck with this brand and wear my usual size.
