From Cleo, available in petites, variety of colours and although not a true "turtleneck", probably better fitting and looking for a short necked gal like myself. Will definitely be giving this a try.

Gorgeous! I particularly love that Pheasant Blue color too. It's a color that seems to look good on everyone.
The drapey neck is nice because it's not confining. It can look dressier if you want or more casual. Very nice! *sneaks off to covet*

I could use a shirt like that, too. I can't stand turtlenecks or even the so-called mock turtlenecks. This neckline looks do-able, doesn't it?
Problem is with Cleo's size chart. Did you look at it? For some dumb reason (and a lot of retailers do this!), they assume petites have smaller chest measurements than regular-sized women. It's a pet peeve of mine because when they do this, my chest measurement is between sizes and I'm never sure whether I should size up or down. Worse, sometimes the shoulders are also cut narrower, and in some instances even the sleeves are too short. If I order a regular size, I run the risk that the sleeves might be too long and maybe the shoulders too large, though I have broad shoulders and rarely have that problem. Anyhoo, thanks for letting me vent about sizing!

I don't know--there are frumpalicious leanings here....

I think it depends on what you wear it with.

Only one way to find out I guess...
Ruth - I do hear you about the sizing. I have had some issues here and there but overall have been really happy with the sizing.

Are you planning to wear this as an under layer with a topper or on its own?

Hopefully both ways - what do you think?

Just to jump on this thread -- I got those Rickis pants today and I think they might have potential for you Shannon! I'll post a photo tomorrow (I just had time to try them on before rushing out the door to get the kids) and they seem to be a good choice. Cat hair doesn't seem to stick either!

Fantastic Ceit - thanks for the info. Looking forward to seeing them tomorrow. No cat hair sticking??? These must be "amaze-o-pants"!

About
I started playing dress up when I was 4 years old and haven't stopped since! My income doesn't match my tastes so it's all about figuring out how to thrift my way to a fashionable life while tossing in a few delectable items.
