NAS Summary

This was the first time I participated in NAS and I'm shocked and thrilled to say that every single item I chose is a keeper. They include: black Halogen seamed pencil skirt (not technically part of NAS but purchased at same time); Jeffrey Campbell oxfords (not technically part of NAS but ....); Elliot Lucca snakeskin handbag; Halogen tipped two-tone purple sweater blazer; Vince Camuto houndstooth blouse; Maggy London black/white wrap dress (not technically part of NAS but...); Rachel Roy tree print skirt; Vince Camuto striped banded tee; Blondo Vergara boots. I also have the Amber Sun jacket on the way to me in the purple colour but I ordered it after NAS was over.

Here are the individual threads that show each item:

I truly cannot believe how lucky I was and I want to thank all of you for helping me narrow down my choices and providing me with information on the individual items (i.e. if you'd seen them in person, tried them on, etc). I especially want to thank you Angie for your killer list of items to begin with and answering my gazzillion questions when I required more info. I'm looking forward to putting all these babies into action once we get into fall weather.

Congrats on your ultra-successful NAS, Shannon! I'm so excited for you!

Wow, that IS amazing! I only kept two things, the Zella jacket and the MMK blazer. Were you mentally prepared to keep it all or were you hoping for, say, 50% success? I think a huge key to your success is your attitude and keen sense of your own style, so give yourself a whole lotta credit!

It was so fun to shop along with you - I really appreciated your scrutiny of each item and learned a lot from each conversation. Enjoy all your beautiful new things!

Una - I was honestly hoping for 100% success and took a lot of time thinking through each item and getting as much info as I could on each so that I could make at least as well informed a choice as I could. The two items I was the most worried about were the Rachel Roy skirt and the Blondo boots, so am super happy they worked out.

    Thanks Ali and Nadya!

Everything is just stunning on you. I love, btw, the combo of the tree skirt and saddle shoes.

Yay! No return shipping and losing your duty/taxes! That's awesome. Now hurry up and have fall so we can see you wearing this great stuff to work!

Shannon, you got great help here....but honestly, most of your success is due to Angie's great recommendations combined with your incredibly honed sense of your own style and your own body. You deserve a huge amount of credit. You are one of the BEST, most sensible, smartest, wildest shoppers I know. Brava!! And I SO look forward to your outfits!!

Shannon, your purchases have looked amazing on you. I especially love the Maggy London dress, VC banded top and the Blondo boots on you. You did great and it surely was a collaborative effort between you and Angie :)

You did so well and everything looks fabulous on you!

I especially love that black and white Maggy London dress - you look better than *any* model in that dress. It's a total knock-your-socks off dress on you. What a fab find :)

    Thanks everyone!

Claire - definitely "yay" for no returning shipping fees! I actually had to factor that in with my budget for NAS just in case.

Suz - wow, I'm humbled by your comments. You're too sweet!

VC - I must admit, I'm pretty crazy about the Maggy London dress. Thank you so much for your compliment!

Shannon, I am so happy it worked out for you. It is truly amazing that EVERYTHING fit well from your online orders. I really envy you that Vergara boots are a good fit - they were not for me but they are very lovely boots.
Every single item is a winner here - Suz is right: BRAVA!

You are amazing Shannon! I don't think I've ever batted 100% on my purchase batches. You must know your style and body so well. Impressive. You look great in everything. In fact, I bought that Maggy London dress myself after seeing it on you! So thanks!

I didn't do so well at NAS this year--only kept a Zella jacket and yoga pants. It's OK though...I have plenty of stuff from last year's NAS (and the markdown aftermath...I got a lot of the NAS stuff that ended up marked down to Rack prices).

Congrats on doing so well with your shopping! You got some amazing pieces (that tree branch skirt is a stunner).

    Thanks Sveta!
Natalie - you look stunning in the Maggy London dress. I'm so glad you got it as well.

You did extremely well, Shannon! Each item is KILLER and I know that you will wear them with panache.

It was my pleasure helping you :)
