WIW: Thrift Week Day 2

Hmmm….don't know what's with the exposure in these pics…waaaaaay too much light…

Anyway, today's outfit started with this thrifted 100% cotton blouse. I love the gold graphic pattern in crisp white, black and cobalt blue. The wide neckline has a black band anchoring it and the sleeves are semi-puffed. The length of the blouse is perfect for pairing with both pants and skirts and I can see a lot of wearings in its future. I like how the blouse is somewhat peasant in style and speaks to a bit of boho.

I've paired the blouse with my white rolled slim BF jeans and then added another thrifted element with these Hush Puppy white sandals with cord baby-wedge heels. Oh so comfy….and in pristine condition.

I've finished off the outfit with my cobalt/cream/black quilted handbag to play off the cobalt in the blouse, white watch, silver wedding band and black/white specs.

Thoughts on this outfit - good, bad and otherwise? As always, all comment/suggestions welcome.

You styled your new to you top perfectly here. This is an example of a thrifted piece that looks perfectly current to me and you might have bought it anywhere. Loving thrift week!

I love how the bag echoes the colors on your pretty top. It's a fab pick - wonderful cut, colors and style. Looks fresh, summery and playful with those white jeans and super cute white sandals.

I love Hush Puppies footwear myself for my fussy feet. But the best part is that your sandals are comfortable AND stylish - not an easy feat to achieve with footwear.

Love it! Can't wait to see your next look

Great combo Shannon.  You are looking very slim in this.  And good job on the thrifting, wow!  Your purse was the perfect choice.

Re your photos, it might be worth seeing if your ISO got pumped up... I see a lot of grain in the photos, however it's more stripey grain than the type of grain produced by high ISO, so I'm not sure.  Could be that different cameras/sensors manifest noise differently.

This is lovely and fresh looking Shannon. Cobalt is such a good colour on you.  Do I detect freshly cut hair??  Your hair looks amazing.  Love the the way the front has been cut.

That top is very striking on you - the color-block pattern is very flattering on you.  Also love how the purse ties in with the top.  Really great outfit from head to toe - and looks cool and crisp for a summer day!  Bonus points for blue toenails that bookend with your top!  A wonderful touch.  :)

Oh, my, your bag is amazing with your newly thrifted top. Keeping everything else clean and simple in white makes the new top a star. Love Thrifting Week.

Great top and shoes!  I'm always amazed that you can find shoes when you thrift.  I have no patience to look through rows of dusty black shoes to find a treasure.

Love this oufit! I can see the top being very versatile too and I like the shape of the neck on you. The purse and top are perfect together!

I love the matchy here. That top is definitely in your sweet spot of colors and is so flattering. Adding the bag is genius.
