WIW: Lotsa white & LBB debut

Happy Saturday everyone! I just finished spending most of the day digging in my garden - one of my all time favourite past times and am heading out in a bit to get my hair trimmed and a bit of pampering at my local salon. What a fabulous day :)

I'm so obsessed with white these days it seems I need some in every outfit I wear. Today I started with my Gap grey/white patterned tee and semi tucked it into a pair of recently thrifted white BF shorts. Now these shorts are seriously BIG on me and will fall off if I take off the belt. But I adore the fit and length and they are just so darned comfy. (P.S. they are doing something strange in my second pic in the crotch area but I assure you, it's just the way I'm standing). 

For footwear, I added my bone/silver sandals which I want to wear all the time. Then to top off the outfit, I'm debuting LBB (Little Bag Blue- thanks for the name Rae!) which I posted my lust for yesterday and promptly bought on my way home from work the same day. I love the quilted cobalt leather, the cream sides and the black trim on everything. I also love the gold hardware and retro shape. I'm in love :)

So what do you think? does this all work together? does the fit on the shorts work ok? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

    Squealing with delight: you got the blue bag!!!!!! And it's a stunner!!! I am so glad you didn't hesitate and went to pick it up immediately, Shannon. Love the colour-blocking and the textural interest. So graphic and fab. Absolutely adore you in these shorts too, and light grey and white are made for each other if you ask me, I love the entire outfit.

    You look phenomenal.  White with other neutrals is such a good pairing for you.  Of course, the LBB is fab....it's Cobalt!

    Inge - I'm learning that there are instances where it doesn't pay to waste time - you just gotta "go for it", you know?

    Suz - trust me, I looked like a wilted dandelion after the gardening before my shower. NOT a good look.

    donnat - I really didn't need too much enabling, believe me!

    Beth Ann - it sounds completely corny, but I always turn to working in my garden when I'm stressed. There's something so humanly satisfying about digging in the dirt and helping things grow - totally restorative.

    Peri - I am feeling well today - both physically and mentally.

    I love the fit of those white shorts, Shannon! And cheers to baby diagonal sleeves. And aren't those new white sandals getting a work out too! I vote K-word worthy all the way.

    lyn* - EXACTLY! It is like an old fashioned bowling bag. 

    Eliza - I'm beginning to think these shoes go with everything too. I can't believe I had a wee bit of doubt about them in the beginning.

    Sveta - haven't started building the shrine just yet but I'm thinking I may have to take over the spare bedroom and turn it into my dream walk-in closet complete with fabulous shrine!

    Angie - LBB sort of reminds me of your handbag with the black/blue/cream - different shape obviously but same wonderful colour combination. LBB thanks you for your kind words :)
