WIW: Kate & Maggy go on a date

Have I mentioned I love fall???

Today is the debut of the Maggy London black/white graphic print wrap dress (waving to dress triplets Rita and Natalie!). I love everything about this dress - the weight, the drape, the pattern, the fit - I want every single Maggy London petite dress if they all fit and feel like this!

I've paired Maggy with my black and red Kate Spade handbag. I felt it was time the two met. For footwear, I'm wearing my Fly London chunky sandals (half my toenail came off last night so no closed shoes again), and for jewelry, I'm wearing my pearl and silver wrap bracelet and a vintage silver and garnet ring.

What do you think? Everything work together? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Dress: Maggy London
Sandals: Fly London
Handbag: Kate Spade (thrifted)
Bracelet: thrifted
Ring: vintage

P.S. Just noticed that I'm wearing two items named London today!

Such a great dress! I love how the strap on the sandals echoes the pattern of the dress.

Is it ok to confess i have dress envy? I love this dress. This dress is crisp, elegant and makes a statement. You look fantastic. It is such a stellar look. Great bag and the sandals work too (sorry about the toenail).

Oh, Shannon. If I were Maggie London Inc. I would want you to HAVE every one of the petite dresses. You are such a great ambassador for the line. Look at you! This was made for you.

As for the "London" thing....maybe it is an omen? I sense a trip in your future....

    Go London , go :)

That dress is really something stunning on you.And the pairing with the bag is fab.
Fall is such a great season to dress, isn't it?

  • Angie replied 11 years ago

Gorgeous fabness, Shannon! This killer frock will look heavenly with animal print booties too.

It's Autumn in Seattle! I bust out my blush moto jacket and snake skin booties yesterday, and wore them with white jeans and grey scarf printed blouse and geometric vest.

    *happy Fall sigh"

    Your outfit sounds delicious Angie!

I don't have any animal print booties...would my chunky animal print Doc Danielle's work?

  • Carole replied 11 years ago

Stunning! Love That Bag, too. You have one gorgeous bag (and wardrobe)collection!

  • rute replied 11 years ago

This is GREAT and the dress "suits" you to a T. It's so versatile -- a four season dress, and any color can accessorize it!

Oh my gosh! That dress is perfection! You look super svelte and stylish. And I can. Not. Believe. You thrifted a KS bag!

  • catgirl replied 11 years ago

You DID NOT thrift a KS handbag! Who lives in your area that is dumping these gorgeous items, Shannon? You must find and befriend her.

Awesome outfit - Kate and Maggy are a lovely couple!

  • RedM replied 11 years ago

Love the dress. That neckline is fabulous on you.

  • morethanbeige replied 11 years ago

This dress looks fantastic on you! Love the combos.

  • Jem replied 11 years ago

Somehow, I missed you thrifty a KS bag!!! Wow, your whole outfit looks fantastic!! That dress is perfection on you!

  • Transcona Shannon replied 11 years ago

I'm hoping Maggy and Kate are life long friends!

Una - funny you ask about who is dumping these items. Rumour has it according to one of the Value Village clerks who helps me out, that it is my dentist's wife! She apparently buys fairly high end items and then tires of them in a couple of months and drops them off when heading out to buy new stuff. The Stuart Weitzman animal print sandals and the Gucci watch that I got at VV were her's. Gotta be careful not to wear my Value Village scores to my dental appointments - lol!

Thank you for the lovely compliments ladies!

Oh, my goodness! You look so fantastic in this outfit! (I love your titles, too. Now I'm wondering if Kate and Maggy went on a date in London!) Everything is so well chosen--love the sandals, bag, and jewelry, just the right pieces and the right amount, to my eye--and the dress is divine on you. I'm with Deborah--dress envy for sure.

Another fabulous dress! Love that (thrfited!) KS with it too. :)

  • goldenpig replied 11 years ago

Shannon, you look absoultely fantastic in this dress! I bought it after seeing it on you, you know! So thanks! (Waving to triplet Rita too!) I am in love with your Fly London sandals and they are perfect with this dress. And how lucky that you thrifted a KS bag. Once again bowing down to your thrifting prowess! Black, white and red is one of my favorite color combos!
