WIW: Flowers, Denim and Pretty Green Shoes

Another rainy day here (yuck) but am wearing my flower garden instead of trying to work in it! Today started with my floral frock, popped on my light wash denim jacket and then added my pretty green shoes for another bit of colour - sort of like walking on the grass...I'm wearing my simple black and white handbag and my recently thrifted vintage Bakelite bangle. I've been searching for a pink Bakelite bangle for almost a year now - I wanted a wide, substantial one, no cracks and small enough to fit my wrist (most just fall off me). I found this one at a vintage shop last week and quickly snapped it up.

So how does this outfit work to your eye? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

    i love this one! A lot of contrasts going on, and of course I love the vintage elements! Great with walking-on-grass-shoes! :-)

    loving the 'garden you are wearing'. For some reason the bangle seems a bit too much to my eye with this particular outfit:not sure if its because I am used to seeing you with minimal jewelry these days or something else. Sans bangle the outfit is gorgeous x1000000000000.

    I absolutely LOVE this combination. For some reason the pretty shoes with the denim jacket particularly tickle my fancy this morning.

    I think the outfit is very nice. I really like the bright shoe to anchor it and the light cropped denim is perfect with it.

    I am finding the strangest things come to mind lately. When I looked at pic #2, your facial expression reminded me of a cat I once had. If I called his name, he would turn his head slightly towards me but wouldn't look at me. It was as though he was saying, I know you are there but refuse to openly acknowledge you. He was such a personable boy. LOL

    Wow, Shannon! This is an amazing outfit! I love this floral dress and it looks perfect with your green shoes that you know I LOVE!!!     Utterly gorgeous on you! That sweet little denim jacket just gives the dress and cute shoes tons of sassy attitude! I must say that bag is lovely too and I love how it balances the dark colors in the dress!

    These shoes are Poetic Licence and they have a couple of styles that are green. Check out the brand on Amazon.com - they have a huge selection.
