WIW: Black Leather & White Jeans

It's no secret I like high contrast outfits - well it doesn't get any higher contrast than black and white!

I've paired my white jeans with my black cowl neck short sleeved tee and topped it with my leather blazer. I've added my patent three-tone oxfords for footwear and my cream handbag (which I can't seem to get enough of). Jewelry is just my silver wedding band.

This is a very simple outfit but I feel really good in it. I think it comes down to the fit of each item and the fabrication. Everything FEELS good. Happiness factor is high!

What do you think? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Leather blazer: Danier Leather
Tee: Sears
Jeans: Jessica Simpson
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
Handbag: Danier Leather

Simple is often best!  Shannon, love the high contrast and I like the choice of footwear.  Solid black or black and white would have been the obvious choice but this just adds something special.

Spot on, Shannon! The shoes create a focal point, and everything looks so pulled together and fresh. I have no suggestions for you, only my unconditional approval. I'm going to copy this - wait and see :)

Nothing wrong with simple. Simple is great. Simple could in fact be my middle name recently.

    TOTALLY awesome. I love it.

    We are jacket twins today.

    *plonk* a donk a donk

That's the sound of my jaw hitting the floor and rolling down the hill. You look darling in this and I think it's your infectious grin that really shows how much you love this look. And why shouldn't you? It has it all - slimming white legs, sharp shoulders, shoes that say "I'm worth it" and a creamy handbag that acts like a dollop of whip on top of a yummy drink. Well, can you tell I love it? What gave me away?

After seeing your outfit today, I ran to my closet to take my new white jeans for a twirl --- but I balked, because it's near the end of the semester, and my students need my "kick-$#@**" look to keep them, ahem, motivated.  Nothing too soft or casual so close to finals, lest they mistake me for their Mama.
Now if I had an actual leather jacket like yours --- well, then things would be entirely different.  White jeans + boots + LEATHER.  This looks amazing on you, Shannon!  Crisp, graphic, modern.

P.S.  I've still favorited this look, so I can duplicate it.

You had me with the white jeans!

    Love this!

Sometimes simple is the most powerful! Black and white is a basic color combination but it pack such a punch.
I cannot help but love any outfit with this leather jacket (still mourning that it was not a good fit for me!) and adding white jeans was a great idea!
I reallly like how you have all balck on top (jacket and top), all white o the bottom (jeans and bag) and mix on your feet. Fun!
