Good morning lovelies! It is going to be a much warmer day today - whoo hoo! So a good day to wear another dress and this time with nude hose.
I pulled out the B44 dress, which I haven't worn in a while. I might be wearing this one a bit more often now that my fitness plan is working - I feel a little less self conscious in it. But to make it work appropriate, I've popped on a navy blazer over top for debombshelling purposes. For fun and also to make my footwear seem a little more spring-like, I've added my sand coloured suede booties with fringe. I've also added my white handbag to keep the accessories light, to pull out the white stripe in the dress, and to bookend the booties in terms of lightness. A swipe of red lipstick and off we go for another day...
What do you think? does it all work together? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

LOVE it, Shannon!! That dress looks stunning on you (and the colours are fantastic, plus your red lipstick complements the red in the dress, so fun). It works fabulously with the blazer, and the light-coloured accessories are such a fresh touch. I'm smiling now about the playful touch those fringed booties bring to the outfit.

I really like this outfit, love the way you thoughtfully pulled out colours, bookended, etc. I do think it would be slightly better with a lighter coloured jacket though. I feel the jacket weighs the outfit down. Or... if this is the jacket you need to wear, I'd go with darker footwear.
Hopefully we'll see this dress again when that white jacket is back in your hands :)

Shannon, this is wonderful in several ways: First of all, you look absolutely terrific today. Second, you are finally able to wear something spring-appropriate. Yay! I love the lighter shoes and the bag with this dress. I also second Angie that the new jacket will be fab with this combination, too!

Yes Angie - I think Frock Shannon is back for a while. I really enjoyed wearing a dress yesterday and even more so today. In fact, I'm feeling kinda "sassy" in this outfit today! As much as I'm enjoying trousers, my heart will always belong to dresses.
And y'all know I'll be trying this dress with my cream leather jacket when I get it back!
And the weatherman is predicting plus temperatures by the weekend - does it get any better than that??? -
