  It looks perfect for a summer day, and good call on the jacket to minimise A/C. I was going to wear mine today too, but I have to move dusty old boxes all day so I didn't think it would be a good outing for mine :)

  WHOA! What a way to jump start a Monday and the first day back to work after a lovely week off!! I love the dress, and I remember that you styled it with the white jacket before. That was my favorite look. And the bag and shoes just top it all off. So well done!

  Shannon, this look reminds me of an important element of scale -- larger scale prints can be work more sucessfully when they're low contrast. I tried a target dress with a slightly smaller scale, really cool print. However, it was black and pure white and it overwhelmed me completely. Seeing your dress (and how well it works for you) helped me see the difference. Thanks for the lesson!

  You have one great formula here, Shannon! This outfit is very ladylike but denim jacket keeps it from being too sweet or bomdshell-y.
