Casual MOTG & Happy Feet

I'm heading out to pick up my son's video game he ordered and a few Body Shop items and wanted to take the opportunity to show you my floral shoes and incorporate them into a casual MOTG outfit.

I decided I wanted a pair of floral flats for summer casual looks and tried on a few that were either too clunky, too uncomfortable or just too ugly. I had kind of hoped for just a slip on pair but when I tried these ones on, my feet were sooooooo happy that they were the winners! They are Blowfish and are incredibly comfortable. I like the size and colours of the floral pattern. I'll wear them with my skinny jeans, clams, shorts and maybe even my denim skirt. I'll really happy with them.

Then I decided to try two different combinations with the shoes and my dark denim Bermudas - one with a dark blue Converse light cotton button front shirt and one with my Gap lightweight yellow striped sweater. I ended up wearing the sweater combination out and felt comfortable and colourful.

As always, would love your feedback.

So fun! I love them with the yellow sweater. I'm glad at least one of us found floral shoes after the blue rose booties. :D

I love them with the yellow sweater too: they seem a bit of out of place with the all-dark outfit in #1.
Cannot beat happy feet, can you? :-)

I agree with Rae and Sveta that they work best with the yellow sweater outfit. Super cute!

I love them! They are great with the yellow sweater and I really like that the bottom part is ...well, whatever that stuff is.

I'd put the shoes with a denim skirt for sure and even solid or other non-floral dresses.

Well hello happy shoes. I think they look good with either top but as they are so bright and sunny my fav is the yellow striped top.

Yes, this is a happy look for sure! Excellent decision to pair them with the yellow stripes for some cheery pattern mixing! Those shoes are way cute!

I threw on Bermudas for my MOTG outing today, too but I was too lazy to take a picture. Outfit #1 just needs some lightening up- maybe a white top instead of the dark blue one or a lighter rinse bermuda short would do the trick.

I like them with both outfits, actually. I like Jewell's suggestion adding a white to outfit #1. Maybe a white denim jacket?

I think these are such cute casual shoes and I could see these being worn with a host of casual looks. Great opportunity for fun pattern mixing.

Your smiling face always makes me feel happy too. The floral shoes really suit your sunny personality, and look really Summery. Can't wait to see them styled with a skirt.

I love them with the sweater! I like how the few yellow flowers on the shoes pick up the yellow of the sweater. And the best thing of all is of course that the shoes are comfortable.

Those are a great find! I think they look good with these outfits and will be fun with a lot of your summer looks.

I like them with both outfits. I think the first would look a bit sharper if you brought some red/coral or other complementary bright into your top half (e.g., a bracelet or something, or with a bag). Cute shoes!

It may be too warm but if you layered a tank under the shirt in outfit #1 and unbuttoned a bit, I think it would bring some nice color and break up the darkness.
Love the sweater with bermudas and the shoes really are Happy Shoes!

How cute would those be with white clams? Love them! Cheeky and fun!
