WIW: White & Silver

I haven't worn this metallic linen-blend drapey tee for a while now - why the heck not? I forgot how lovely it drapes and feels against the skin.

I've paired this tee (which reminds me of liquid metal) with my white BF jeans - again Angie, thank you for convincing me that gals with curves can wear white jeans!

I've added my white wide belt with chrome buckle and semi tucked the tee. I then chose my bone/silver sandal shoes, white clutch and chrome/white watch for accessories. These further play up the white and silver colour combo of the day. Threw in the red specs for a spot of unexpected colour to finish off the outfit.

This is a simple, comfortable and casual summer office look that feels right for me. Let me know if you see anything "off" or have suggestions for improvement :)

    Lovely. The tee bookends so beautiful with the metallic on your shoes. I am even more impressed with EF that the metallic shirt feels nice. So often I have found metallic scratchy. So glad you brought it out to play!

    Shannon, I don't know how you could possibly improve this outfit!   It is just perfect!  You look amazing, as always :)   I am drooling over those shoes.

    Beautifully done --- a lighter color palette with lots of sophistication.  It would be easy to work in this all day.

    Kidding:)  That metallic t is the perfect shade of pewter-silver...not too shiny . Really could go luxe or sporty-luxe; very versatile piece!  It must be wonderful for your office mates to see you coming in the door each morning looking so put-together and happy each day! Love this outfit.  Fit is bang-on too.

    This looks great and I love those shoes! I even tried to find them but didn't want to risk shipping costs back/forth from Canada to US. I really like how they work with other metals but they are still subtle.

    I love everything about this look, but especially that it is totally appropriate for work, but you could go out for drinks without changing a thing.

    High five on wearing the white jeans to the office! I've got mine on today too.

    I remember trying that tee on but I don't recall why it didn't work for me. It looks terrific on you and I love it paired with the white.

    Anna - is it the combination of the silver and the clutch that make it more going out? Just curious.

    Thanks all - I do like the combination of white and silver. Somehow it's not quite as "in your face" as all white.
