I hope all my Canadian Fabbers had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend :)

Today is the debut of my Theory Lanai navy blazer, which I've paired with my B44 grey/navy/cream/red striped dress. I know that styles are moving away from body con but hopefully this dress still looks current.

For footwear I chose my short red booties and added my quilted red leather handbag for a bit more red. My rose gold/black watch and gold wedding band round out the outfit.

So what do you think? Proportions ok? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

    OMG Shannon.  Are the proportions okay??  You nailed it.  The cut of the jacket with the angled stripes is perfection.  I'm not sure if it is the clothes or the weight loss but your waist looks tiny.  Love it and you know how I am about proportions.

    Well, I wasn't going to log back in till later as I have a mountain of work, but I took one look at your pictures and I had to tell you how fantastic I think you look. You glow with all the touched of red and the proportions are spot on. Fab!

    I think this looks perfect. The blazer is marvelous and addinf the gray to the red and navy mix is just right for fall. Lovely :)

    One of your best among so many great outfits. Everything looks perfect. The red accessories seal the deal. There is a place for body con. Just look at the popularity of the stretchy tube skirt. You make those of us who look like a post in a body con dress green with envy.

    That jacket is MAGIC; the shape is so flattering. It puts your waist where your waist wants to be, and I love how that dress fits you and fatters. You really have the blazer-over-dress look down; I wish I could manage the proportions as nicely as you do.

    Oh, WOW!  You knocked it out of the park, Shannon, and I feel a "K" coming in here.

    The beautiful Theory jacket (still on my wish list) and the touches of red make  this one of my favorites of yours, and, yes, the proportions work.  btw, your haircut is amazing and looks so great in these photos that it almost makes me want to fly north, with the Canadian geese, and get my hair cut at your place.

    I love the body con modern classic on you, Shannon, because you own it! I also adore the matching bag and booties. Are they new, or have I just been sleeping in class? Beautiful booties! The Lanai is incredible. I wish I could find something similar.

    Love love love love it!!  I think that jacket is going to be quite a work horse over your dresses and skirts Shannon.  You inspired me this morning, and I am wearing my B44-esque black and cream knee length skirt, a top and my Theory-esque black jacket.

    Ingunn - the booties I bought last year and the handbag I thrifted a couple of years ago. Both are cold weather workhorses for me.

    Completely gorgeous!  That red lipstick is the perfect touch.  Wondering if you had to size up on the Theory jacket like others have mentioned?  I am a 10/12 and I am wondering if the brand will fit since it only goes up to a size 12.  Thanks!
