WIW: Angie's Bermuda Formula for a casual day

I have the day off work today (whoo too!) and it's a hot, sunny summer day. I have some running around to do so want to be comfortable. I started with my dark denim cuffed Bermuda shorts, then added on top an orange/coral linen oversized type shirt. I love linen in the heat and don't even mind the wrinkles. On my feet I have my trusty Sketcher nude sandals (I've had these at least 3 years now), have added my gold and turquoise cuff for a bit of colourful bling and am using my dark brown raffia tote. I feel summery, comfortable and pulled together - Angie, I love this formula!

So what do you think? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

    Great casual outfit, where the base is big and solid, and the beauty is in the details. Love that you thought to add that bracelet and bag with those shoes, which is likely where I'd have stopped, lol! Very smart, polished outfit for running around town.

    That looks just about perfect. I covet the bracelet! Coral and turquoise are so summery and the shape of blouse looks carefree and breezy.

    How cool are you in this perfect Bermuda formula and have fun on your play day. I love your color choices and raffia bag, too. I'm with Manidipa and wonder why I stop just before the bracelet or bag change with my styling. You finish it off nicely.

    Great outfit! I was just telling myself that I need to put more thought into outfits with shorts. I tend to think of them as so casual that I don't add accessories or coordinate my bag. I really like how you've gone beyond the simple shorts and top and made your outfit an "outfit" (hopefully I'm making sense here).

    Thanks ladies - casual is still definitely something I'm working on big time so I truly appreciate the feedback. I am learning that for me, a piece of jewelry, the right handbag and the footwear truly make an outfit feel like "me".
