WIW: White Jeans & Yellow Stripes

These are my sized up Jessica Simpson white skinnies and I have come to the conclusion that they are as slouchy as I want to go in white denim. There's something about the combination of a wide expanse of white and the BF silhouette that I don't care for on me.

Anyway, I've paired the white jeans with my yellow and oatmeal striped v-neck light weight sweater, semi tucked, and have added my animal print belt for pattern and interest. I really like cognac tones with white and yellow. For footwear, I'm again wearing my peep toe laceless taupe oxfords. I can hardly wait until my white laser cut oxfords arrive - I think they'll look great with these jeans (if they fit of course). For more cognac, I'm using my Fossil re-issued vintage satchel. A white watch is all for jewelry today.

What do you think? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Lovely! I love how we see a peek of belt that bookends with your bag. And the shoes bring out the colour of the neutral stripe in your sweater. Beautifully done :). Those jeans are indeed a good fit.

Sunshine on a cloudy day! You look radiant, Shannon.

I like the silhouette of these white jeans on you, they are much more flattering that the BF's, and I do think it's the perfect amount of slouch!  Love it with the yellow and grey stripes.  I have a similar outfit on, slouchy white skinnies and my blue/grey striped shirt!

Yes, these slouchy skinnies are good. Love them with the sweater!

I'm with you on not going too slouchy in white pants for the same reasons as yours. I also think this outfit is one of my favorites of yours lately - so crisp, fresh and fab!

You are very wise to stick with your feelings about which sort of white jeans you will be happy wearing. These look terrific and I can't wait to see them with the new shoes!

There is no end to your daily gorgeousness and happy style, Shannon. Truly!  It's a forum treat.

You know you had me with the white jeans! So fresh with the lemon and light grey. An 11 out of 10 :)

These look great, Shannon! I love the colors you've mixed here and that gorgeous bag. Can't wait to see the new oxfords in action.

I like these white ones so much on you that if I were you I'd be buying a backup pair. But I do that way too often (buy backups). Seriously, these look great and you are looking so great too. I love the yellow with the cognac tones too.

Yep - I guess these are MY white jeans...at least for now.

Angie - what a very sweet thing to say. Thank you :)

textstyle - I actually want to try on a pair of these same jeans one size smaller for a non-slouchy look. Hopefully they still have them in stock.

    Thanks everyone.

You have embraced white with a vengeance, Shannon!  I love this look on you and will copy in Hawai'i in a couple of weeks.

I really like the way your shoes pick up the color from your sweater.  I'm not sure white would look better.

The shoes are perfect with your white jeans.  I love you in yellow and white.

You look fab in this outfit! The striped sweater is gorgeous on you, and the fit of the jeans is terrific. Wouldn't change a thing.

I love white and yellow together.  You look great!

Perfect fit, Shannon!  These jeans have ease, but don't overwhelm.  Love them with the yellow and the "grounding" quality of the bowns/taupes.
