WIW: Trio of Leather & Bit of Blue

Back to work today after a long weekend - I started out today with my tweed front trousers and then added my blue cowl neck tank. I tucked the tank and added a black skinny belt to the trousers (it only has skinny belt loops). On top of that, I added my black leather blazer. For footwear, I've got on my Doc Marcie boots and my handbag is my black/cream one. That's three leather elements in today's outfit - blazer, boots and handbag. Is a trio of leather too much?

What do you think? does this work together? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Blazer: Danier Leather
Tank & trousers: Jessica (Sears brand)
Boots: Doc Martens
Handbag: Danier Leather (thrifted)

Not too much at all! And the blue looks lovely with the blacks and greys -- not too much black either!

Love the three leather pieces.... so sleek. I am currently drawn to a lot of leather too, this is not too much at all. Plus you look amazing in that cobalt drape top!

Modern and fabulous are words that sprung to mind too! That blue is utterly scrumptious with your colouring.

And your smile lights up the room. Love your positive energy.

Great back to work look, Shannon. The stripe on the pants gives the tweed a modern edge, the blue drape a bit of feminine energy and softness. I'd wear this anytime!

Shoes and bag dont really count. I love the leather and tweed combination.

I think pairing black and other dark neutrals with a pop of colour is part of your signature look. This is so modern and the shape of the outfit is beautiful. One of my favourites!

Definitely works. In my world, shoes and bags don't really count as Leather Clothing Items, since I don't really use them in other fabrications too often. Leather jacket, top, and pants together would probably be too much, but this is perfect.

Tina - I think you're right. I enjoy wearing neutrals with one colourful piece.

    Thanks all!
