WIW: Thrift Week Day 4

Again, apologies for the poor photo quality. My camera appears to be dying a slow death and so used my phone today and the photos are too dark. Will make adjustments tomorrow but no more time this morning.

My outfit started with this thrifted H&M bubble hem wrap dress in shades of brown, charcoal and cream. It's sleeveless and fully lined with nice wide straps for fabulous bra coverage. It borders on a little short for my comfort zone in the front but because it's not body con in any way and the back hem is lower, I think it's fine. I can see this dressed up for date night or with casual sandals and denim vest for an afternoon of shopping.

I've topped the dress today with my white denim jacket which adds structure and then chose my nude peep toe sandal booties for footwear. I grabbed my citron bag for a pop of colour and then finished off the outfit with my red specs, red lip, ebony and stainless steel watch and silver ring.

Thoughts on this outfit all appreciated :)

Cute dress, Shannon! You find the best things. I like the peeptoe booties a lot.

That is a cute dress. It goes nicely with the denim jacket.

Another wonderful find. The dress does not look to short on you, especially for summer. Your styling pulls everything together .

I think the dress length works well, especially in the summer.  It doesn't feel inappropriately short at all.  It could also be a great dress to wear with sheer black tights for a dressy occasion in cool weather.  Love the white jacket with it!

Trifted??? Not too short, quite good for the summer times! Love the grown up color combo! YLF!

Cool dress!  I love the hem and draping.  The booties are an unexpected combo but I like the nude look.

That dress is absolutely divine. I love it. It's the perfect summer dress... And it's definitely not short.

Really like how you've styled it here. And I love that bag!

Frankly I'm surprised anyone has even commented on the dress being that you can hardly see it in these pics - lol!

Thanks all - I'm feeling quite flirty in this dress today, I will admit :)

Suz - my thrifted items have injected some fun and that's exactly what I was hoping for...an inexpensive way to try a few different colors, looks and silhouettes.
