Thrifting Queen

WIW: Team Naot

I think Sharan (a.k.a. Firecracker) and I have decided to start the YLF Team Naot! I got these shoes yesterday and am wearing them today - no time to waste for happy feet!

My outfit actually started with my new black Naot Lan criss-cross shoes - oh my…I cannot say enough wonderful things about these shoes from the quality to the comfort.

I then grabbed my black skinnies and added my drapey wrap black tank, semi tucked so there is a peek of my black leather belt. On top of that, I chose my CM neutral colour palette floral moto jacket - this was an Angie pick from two years ago and I still love it. 

I finished off the outfit with my black/cream handbag and my black/white specs. Totally forgot lipstick for the pics - yikes :)

Does this all work together? Is the jacket a bit too short to wear with pants? I'm hoping the hi-lo hemline of the tank (due to the semi tuck) keeps the proportions in check. As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

    An all perfect coordinated bl&w look, with the new naots-you lucky girl! I think blazer it's OK with the pants and how I  love them patterned!

    I think the jacket length works because the rest of the outfit is black - it makes your legs look super long. My first thought is I want to copy this with my version of these pieces!

    I'm so happy about the shoes! Pretty sure I'd join your team in a heartbeat. I'm voting for comfort all the time these days - and you guys make comfort HIP! Great outfit!

    Thank you all! I have done quite a bit of running around this morning and my feet are HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! I've also had a couple of comments on the new shoes at the office ranging from "cool" to "funky" to "geek chic" :)

    Shannon, this is a great outfit. I love the jacket with the outfit--are you kidding? :)
    I do get what you mean, I think, wondering about a short jacket with skinnies, but this combination looks fab. I like the jacket over the drapey top. I like the subtle feminine touch of that trim on the graphic black and white bag.

    P.S. I wore my Lans today, too.
