WIW: Skinny Slouchies & Chunky Knit

Soooooo glad it's Friday - and it's another cold one! But it looks like we're going to get a reprieve from the bitterly cold temperatures starting tomorrow. Thank goodness!

Have I mentioned I love these jeans??? I've paired my skinny slouchies (the one size up pair) with my cream coloured chunky knit sweater. I've added my snakeskin belt for a bit of pattern and semi tucked to show it off a bit. For footwear I'm wearing my red SE booties and decided for a bit more colour and pattern, added my red and animal print clutch. Jewelry is my gold wedding ring and gold oversized watch.

Happiness factor for this outfit? Off the charts!

Over to you...what do you think? Does it all work? BTW,, I really should have these jeans hemmed up a bit as they are about an inch too long but I kind of like the bit of cuff. Am I crazy?

    I like the cuff, I think it looks intentional. It goes well with the chunky knit of the sweater! Looks great, Shannon! Happy Friday!

    I love this ensemble. I like the cuff and have a pair on just like that today and was wondering if I should hem...lol. Love the sweater and it looks like a non-itchy. glad to hear it is warming up - here too!

    Very nice! The hem isn't crazy. If you think it will help, go for it. Maybe try just pinning it first, though. :)

    You look off the chart good too! Everything is so perfect from the red lip to the red bootie. I too like the cuff/length of the jeans, imho you're not crazy.

    I really like the red shoes and clutch! I should copy this outfit - I have red boots that I never wear. It doesn't help that the heel is really, really high.

    You and I are dressed very similarly today...cream sweater, jeans and animal print. So, I am 100% on board with this look.

    Beautiful and cuddly. I think the booties add a nice touch -- that bit of feminine that's always in your "lady prince" outfits.

    You look so casual chic, but still pulled together! I love this combo indeed. It is classic with a modern twist. I like the cuff, too, so don't get too polished with this or the effect diminishes. Just my thoughts, of course! When are you sending me those boots, by the way ;-)

    This is such a gorgeous colour on you Shannon. And the sweater is perfect for a prairie winter. Love this look, especially paired with the red!

    I can't believe I don't have red boots! Several pairs of red shoes though, and my five year old daughter makes a beeline for those in my closet.
