WIW: Rare Casual Shannon

Just ran off to get my hair trimmed (the curse of short hair - trim every 4-5 weeks or else!) and pick up a few bags of mulch for the garden and thought I'd show you what I wore. I post primarily my work outfits so thought I'd show you the "other Shannon".

Wearing my Wit & Wisdom skinny jeans, white Esprit tee and my thrifted plaid wedge Mary-Janes. I thrifted these shoes about two months ago and this is their maiden voyage. I don't think they were ever worn and the brand on the inside is Midtown (whatever that is). They are extremely comfy and cute for summer.

Off to watch Dancing With the Stars - catch you later!

P.S. This is a really stupid pose - don't know WHAT I'm doing!

    That looks very similar to my at home wear - skinny jeans (mine have been rolled up lately) and longer soft knit top. If i wore white to garden center though, it wouldn't be white for long :)

    I like the fun shoe - could be cute with denim skirt?

    Am I allowed to call you cute?! I think I do that pose when I don't want everyone to see how tired and red my eyes are lol.

    Really cute casual look and those shoes are adorable. Just goes to show you can look put together in the most casual of moments.

    You know what? I LOVE this. It is really speaking to my current "simplicity" mode. If you stepped up the pieces to more polished but kept the theme, it would work for a dressier look too. Like a white short-sleeved buttondown and the Doc Saras.
