WIW: Print & Purple

It's a bit warmer this week so am giving a nod to Spring by not wearing black stockings of any kind, just nude micro fishnets.

These faux bare legs are peeking out from under my trusty purple/blue/black/cream print wrap dress. I've topped the dress with my dark purple Amber Sun jacket and added my blue-purple suede booties. For my handbag, I've added my black with cream trim to pick out the cream in the dress.

I haven't paired this dress and this jacket together before - what do you think? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

    I love this Shannon. The purple is a nice transition to Spring. Great color, but not too bright yet. I think the dress works well with the jacket.

    Yes, I think the jacket plays well with the dress. As Raison said the purple is a good transitional shade. Great accessories too. Love!

    I love the texture of the dress. It's funny looking at your pics I actually see the purple jacket and boots as a neutral over the vibrant print. Interesting! Is this what they mean by pseudo-neutral?

    Shannon the true mark of a stylish woman is being able to get someone to shift their perspective. (I'm changed!) I enjoy your style because it's very thought provoking for me.

    Purple is my favorite color, so of course I love this! I have those exact same booties and I am never certain if I should consider them purple or cobalt when pairing them with other stuff for outfits.

    Tanya - I know! The colour of these booties is somewhere inbetween cobalt and purple aren't they? And I find they can look different depending on what I pair them with.

    I love the slight variation in colour between the booties and jacket, so fresh. And perfect paired with that great dress. It reminds me of my new Helmut Lang dress, both the colour and the print. Just gorgeous!

    Beautiful! That is my favorite dress of yours! I have a scarf that is similar in color and print to your dress and I luv to wear it with my purple trench.
