WIW: Neutral & Comfy

Today's outfit started with my blue EF drape front dress. I know there are a few Fabbers who have this dress in various colours who would agree with me on just how comfy and easy these dresses are to wear.

Because I nearly froze in my office A/C yesterday in my sleeveless blouse, I am topping today's dress with my denim jacket (with scrunched sleeves).

I grabbed my nude peep toe sandal booties for footwear and bookended that neutral shade with my taupe/cream snakeskin handbag.

Accessories include my taupe/silver wrap watch, silver wedding band, red specs and red lip. I also decided to style my pixie a bit different today by pushing the hair up and back off my forehead.

Thoughts and comments all welcome and thanks for popping by :)

Jacket: Levi (thrifted)
Dress: Eileen Fisher (eBay)
Sandals: Steve Madden
Handbag: Elliott Lucca

P.S. Still working on lighting with my phone camera app so apologies for the less than stellar pics.

I adore that EF dress:)  And the blue tones of the dress and the denim jacket are so flattering on you Shannon.  And your hair is looking amazing!

I love that EF dress. Your hair looks great, but your smile steals the show. I love how effortlessly stylish you are!!!

Everything about that outfit is perfect....I love that bag. I want something like that now!!!! I usually don't like sandal booties and have tried on these Steve Madden ones several times but always put them right back. But somehow, on you they look fabulous! They lengthen your leg line and don't look chunky at all....they look great with the dress. Oh well, I think it's just your personality :D You 'own' everything you wear and that's probably why it looks so good on you!

The jeans jacket and shoes are just just perfect with the dress! Glad you're back!

Maneera - I think a chunkier shoe/sandal works for me because I have a fairly substantial ankle and calf to balance the visual weight of the shoe. I actually find a dainty shoe looks kind of "lost" on my foot. And thank you so much for your incredibly lovely comments - you have made my day :)

A denim jacket is one of those items that I will NEVER be without in my wardrobe. Such an incredibly versatile piece and classic enough to never go out of style IMHO.

Thanks for your comments ladies :) And Shevia - it's nice to be back!

This is a great outfit for you! (And I love that your lip matches your glasses, too.)

Great! And your red specs just POP against the neutral background. Love the blues....

So nice to see you and your radiant smile back on the forum after your vacay! You are rocking the denim jacket and dress. The nude *bandals* (bootie sandals!) pick up so nicely on the shades in your fab bag and do my eagle eyes spot a bronze toned pedi to match?

Gosh, you look great! The whole outfit works beautifully...but I'm really coveting those booties!
