WIW: Grey, navy & white (with makeup pic)

Good morning my lovelies :)

Today's outfit started with my navy Lanai blazer, which I realize I hadn't worn for quite some time. I chose my false grey plaid wide legged trousers and paired them with my white cross over tee, topped with the navy blazer. For footwear, I went with my black patent booties although I'm seriously thinking about hunting down a pair of  cream booties with a heel to wear with trousers… I chose my light cream handbag to go with the white tee and jewelry is my silver wedding band and a vintage grey/silver bangle.

And for those who wanted a close up picture of my new make up (have switched to a local company and am using now a tinted moisturizer instead of mineral foundation) - here you are. All I'm wearing is tinted moisturizer (over top of my regular moisturizer since my skin is quite dry in the winter), a dab of  cream foundation stick on a couple of age spots, a wee bit of cream blush blended in, a swipe of cream eyeliner, mascara and my new lipgloss. I'm quite happy with the soft and dewey look this gives my face.

Anyway…what do you think of the outfit and the makeup? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Blazer: Theory
Tee: BCBG
Trousers: Express
Booties: Ara
Handbag: Danier Leather
Bangle: vintage

Love the classic look, Shannon! Somehow I think a statement necklace would look rather good with this outfit.

Stellar! Glad you posted a close up of your handbag - with your outfit it looks white - but I see it is actually grey - so gorgeous. And speaking of gorgeous - your close ups show a beautiful, radiant woman!!

Oh wow gorgeous and minimal make up! I love!! And love your fluid pants and the drapey blouse! I bat for team minimal and I love this outfit for its simple and sharp look.

    Sigh!!! I love your makeup:)

You look terrific, Shannon! Very fresh and dewy, as you say - which in a Winnipeg winter, is truly saying something!

Great look, Shannon. Your skin looks so fresh and it was good of you to share what works. You glow!

Your skin is gorgeous - you definitely found the right stuff (or lack thereof). I love the white top with the navy and grey and the cream bag is an excellent touch!

Fantastic look and your make-up looks great!

Your outfit is classic goodness and the new makeup is beautiful on you. My present tinted moisturizer is not the best color match for my winter coloring. You are inspiring me to hunt for a better shade.

Love the ease and drape of your outfit against the sharp lines of the Lanai and the structure of the bag and booties.  This combination looks so confident, but easy.

And your face looks rested and vibrant.  Brava!

Your makeup looks great!  I also really like the interesting white top under your jacket.  I know what you mean about lighter shoes to wear with lighter colored pants such as grey.  I've been looking but still haven't found anything I'm willing to pay for.

Gorgeous makeup - can I ask the brand of tinted moisturizer?

Edit - apologies, I see it in the pic ... looks fantastic on you!!

A great minimal look and so right that Suz uses the word dewy, which is exactly the word I used to expressed my love of  Josie Maron argon oil infused make up.  Your skin is fantastic and so great to find a new make up line that you love!

You are rockin' it every which way, Shannon! I found your makeup post so interesting but I found it super late and didn't comment. Thanks for setting a great example to some of us (erm, me!) who tend to think the problem is the face rather than the makeup.
