Very nice Shannon. I would probably use the injury as an excuse to wear whatever the heck was easiest for the duration. :)

You look gorgeous, -love the all blacks with pop of pattern and color-esp love the red lips(and bag) today! Now off to read back, what happened to your ankle, so sorry about:-(. Hugs!

You look fantastic. You are really looking well lately. I hope that ankle heals quickly, but you are looking good even with the boot!

Jaime replied 10 years ago
Looks great even with the mismatched boots!

Even your "comfy" looks are so fab! Love the pop of color you have added with the red lip and bag. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

You look as good as always and I barely noticed the boot as the eyes are drawn upwards to your sweater.

You look very, very pretty.

Simple and elegant in black, red and animal print. This outfit is so Shannon :). Hope your ankle feels better now.

Very nice Shannon! The pop of red is a great touch.
I'm with dianthus, I'd use your ankle as an excuse to be comfy all the time :)

I think you're doing beautifully, Shannon, and making the book work without sacrificing your signature style. Black obscures fit issues, and is forgiving when things are a bit snug or loose. The leopard print is interesting to the eye, but also warm and cozy for a cold day. And you know I love those Blondos!
Hope you heal quickly! You look great!

Didn't even notice your boot until it was mentioned and then went back to look.
I love this outfit and want to steal your pretty red bag. It reminds me of a Kate Spade i've been eyeing at the Rack. The sheath looks fine as you have reined it in.

This totally works, Shannon! That sweater was one of your best buys last year. I hope you are feeling a little better....

You look great, as always! I'm taking note of ways you manage to look so good and also keep warm, such as layering your tights. It's cold here, too. It snowed yesterday.
How long until you get your extra boot off?

I'd never guess that you are dressed for comfort. You look terrific. Love the red bag with the leopard print.

I honestly believe that red lipstick makes every outfit better - lol!
I have to wear the ankle boot for another week and then see how shoes feel. I have been very diligent about icing, elevating and resting my ankle and am really pleased with how well it's healing. The swelling is down by about 70% and I'm walking almost completely without a limp now. It is turning quite the amazing color though - dark purple and green.
Thank you for the lovely compliments ladies :)

Your new boot is hardly noticeable with this. You look warm and stylish - mission accomplished!

You look amazing! I agree, the boot is barely noticeable. And you are so rocking' the red lips.

You look great Shannon! Healing vibes to you.

Shannon, your "comfy" look is better than many of my "best" looks! Your outfit is great and you are glowing. In fact, you have inspired me to make a better effort on my own outfit today as I head out into the NW Ontario cold for my first post-op appointment. Thanks for that :)

You look terrific. I love the column of black and the patterned top.
Hope you feel better soon!

Just think on the bright side - most of your wardrobe will be new to you once you can wear heels again! Just enjoy being in warm and comfortable in the meantime...you look great in this outfit.

I'm sorry about your ankle, but I wouldn't have even noticed or guessed this was a comfort outfit! YLF!
-
Amy replied 10 years ago
Shannon, you look *great* considering your poor little foot/ankle. Do you have some fleece lined tights? That might help you feel cozier since you can't sport your pants for the time being. Get well soon!!!
-
Peri replied 10 years ago
Gorgeous! You wear our sheath so well, and it doesn't look too big. I wish I could say that about mine...sadly I think this year it is going to be too tight. :(
-
Angie replied 10 years ago
What Suz says, and loving the red lippie. Hugs and hope your foot feels better soon.

Glad your foot is healing well! I can't tell you dressed to be comfy, I think you look fab! Wouldn't it be nice if all our clothes were both fab and comfy?
-

You look terrific! This is great comfort and style in one. I'm so sorry about your foot, and hope you'll get better soon!

I love this. So put together and the cardigan is doing it's job well as I don't feel the dress 'looks' too big. Cannot tell you how much I a streamlined look. This is stunning. Trusting the foot is healing up well.

that's what I call stealth comfy - I would definitely agree that no one would expect this to be an outfit designed around the comfort factor!! - adore the red lips and bag with it!!

Good thing you have a fabulous skirt and frock collection (and look great in all of them). You look great (and hey, here's proof that stylish outfits can be super comfy) :D

Sad foot... it stinks when life does not play along nicely, but one would never know your coat is in the shop or that you are avoiding pants. High five!

Love the sweater and the supporting black pieces --what happened to the ankle????
I hope you're doing OK. I have ankle issues and it seems the littlest mis-step sends me running to the ankle brace.
