Needed a FFBO outfit today - feeling quite under the weather and busy day ahead. I popped on my favourite floral frock (how do you like THAT for alliteration???) and topped it with my faded cropped denim jacket. I like my lighter denim jacket with this dress to bring out the blue flowers and lighten the overall colour palette. For shoes, I need comfort so went with my neutral pointy toe kitten heel pumps. Grabbed my green handbag for more colour and spring attitude and away we go.
What do you think? Does it all work together? I wanted to wear my green Poetic Licence pumps but they just aren't as comfortable as they used to be. As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

I love this dress! And I like how you are wearing it today. The shoes look good and they work but I kind off what some colour on your feet:). I'm sorry your PL shoes aren't comfy cause that are very fab shoes:)

Deborah - I totally hear you about wanting some color on my feet. Strangely enough though I'm kind of digging the neutral look. I'm really worried my green pumps are too high now :( LOVE those shoes.
Sveta - thank goodness Angie showed us how to wear denim jackets and dresses. If you're like me, this is a look I wear to death during the spring and summer.
Liz - I think it's a little bit of both. Cleo does carry a fair bit that works for my style and fits me well, although some of it definitely borders "old lady". So I have gotten more picky about what I buy there as a result.

Nancylee - I started doing the end picture with my accessories as a way to show details that sometimes don't show up in the outfit pic.
Una - yes, believe it or not, we can wear a denim jacket to work if it is worn with a dress or skirt to keep the overall outfit work appropriate. We can't wear it with pants or jeans though.

I love this dress, and I have never ever seen you in a dress that looks old lady. And only you could use the words "pointy toe kitten heels" and "comfort" in the same sentence. Those are gorgeous shoes (they would be sitting shoes for me) and they do ah-mazing things for your legs. Not that your legs need any help, but you get my meaning. :D
