WIW: Dancing Watermelon

I have to say that for a $20 tee, this Victoria-era ballerina tee has held up incredibly well.

I've paired my dancing tee with my black/white striped tube skirt and then to further play up black and white patterns (and for comfort) added my black/white polka dot Birks for footwear. If the office is unbearably cold, I'll pop on top my faded denim/leather mixed media jacket. For accessories I went with my watermelon handbag, red specs and silver watch, wedding ring and bracelet.

Sooooooo glad it's Friday :)

So what do you think of this outfit? Does it all work together? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Tee: Smart Set
Skirt: Vince Camuto
Sandals: Birkenstock Pappillio
Handbag: hospital gift shop
Watch: Gucci (thrifted)

What a beautiful outfit Shannon!  Love that tee.  The bag adds just the right dose of color.

You look cute. It must be the tee that brings in the kinda playfull vibe.

    Ooh really well done.

Perfect proportions, as always. Love the denim vest with it. Hmmm, maybe I need a denim vest :)

    Adorable, Shannon!!

    Perfect pattern mix!

    Thanks ladies :)

Kerry - just to clarify, the denim piece is a jacket not a vest. It just looks like a vest because the sleeves are leather and it fools your eye.

So cute! I love the title and popped straight in when I saw "watermelon" :)

Thanks for the clarification - I thought it was a vest too.

    Fun :)

You know it took me a bit to get the watermelon reference. I thought you were referring to yourself as the watermelon, and I'm like that's bad self love! Then I realized it was the handbag. Clearly I did not get enough sleep .

You really have this nailed down, don't you!  I love this t-shirt with that skirt - ups the coolness factor by 10.  Great for a Friday look too, and the pop of colour in the bag adds polish.  Lovely:)

Your Friday looks have been spectacular!  Love the playful edge of the black/white.  I'm loving mine with flats, too.
