WIW: Crazy Tee + Crazy Crops = Crazy Fun

I'm off work next week and it's casual Friday, so decided today was the day to have fun with my outfit. I started with the cropped pants that Wonder Woman re-vamped for me (shortening and tapering the legs) and then paired my crazy navy t-shirt with the giant flower on it. For footwear, I'm wearing my oh-so-comfy Sketcher sandals, and I'm using my camel handbag and wearing my white watch for accessories.

This outfit will certainly not be to everyone's taste but I feel happy in it. What do you think? Too "out there"? How are the proportions and colours? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Sandals: Sketchers (thrifted)
Watch: thrifted
Handbag: Mondani New York (thrifted)

Just realized my ENTIRE outfit is thrifted!

    I think it is a real casual fun, Shannon. My only suggestion would be a different handbag: I think the warm beige of the bag is not playing well with cool taupe tones in the crops and shoes.
    I really like those sandals for casual wear!
    Have a nice vacation- are you going somewhere?

    This is a fun outfit Shannon. I do like that top:). This is fun, creative and fashion forward in my humble opinion.

    That's a LOT of fun! You know I love that T-shirt and those cropped pants, and now I have to gush about the Sketchers too, which are making me just a little jealous.

    You're always such an inspiration, Shannon, always ready to try something unusual and pushing the envelope. How will the folks at work react, I wonder? I bet they're just barely getting used to non-jeans Casual Fridays!

    I completely agree about the handbag Sveta - I actually think my green handbag would have looked MUCH better. Unfortunately we're not going anywhere as my husband does not have the same vacation time this summer as I do (that happens every once in a while for us as we're both in health care) so I plan on playing in my garden, hanging with DS, sleeping in and watching chick flicks!

    Oh that flower is too fun. Now you have me really inspired. I actually have some flower pins like this I have been too wimpy to wear. Guess I should consider it a challenge. Hmmmm. I will pack them in my suitcase for Monday morning.

    I love this Shannon! I never picked up on the fact that those crops are Dockers?!!! You make them look vintage-cool! I love the whole *dark on top, light on the bottom* vibe you have going on. And you definitely look like you have one foot out the door for your week off, lol. Fun!

    I agree about the green bag, but I love the outfit - LOVE the shoes you chose with the crops. Very long-leggy.

    Those crops look so crazy good on you!!!

    The top is very social and fun. As in, it's an easy conversation piece and lets strangers have fun with you. In fact, all of your outfits say that about you Shannon. You are so approachable and promise to lighten everyone's day. I'll bet this is in your nature and I think you do a good job in bringing that out in your clothing choices.
