Lovely! I'm glad to see you've pulled out the mauve jacket and given it some love. I like the pairing with the black and white. I didn't realize its buttons were all different, how cute!

That jacket is so distinctive, Shannon. I had been thinking of it lately and wondering when we might see it next! Yay!!!
So glad you have a happy outfit to wear today. The dress is gorgeous, too.

I think this looks great, Shannon. I love your black and white looks, and the mauve is a perfect accent.

I had to click when I read "mauve leather"! I love that the jacket softens the black and white theme.

Great outfit! I love the black and white with the colored jacket. That's one of my favorite combos.

That is such a pretty outfit! I wasn't sure about the length of the jacket until you said your happiness factor was off the charts, and then I knew it was perfect :-). (Sometimes I think like a shorter jacket with dresses, but I recently broke that "rule" myself and it was one of MY favorite outfits!)
If we ever meet in person, please don't bring that purse. I'll be very tempted to run off with it and make its spectator adorableness mine all mine.

I think when the jacket has enough waist definition, it works just fine with a dress.

This is a great example where each piece is a star, but they work together so well. I can see why you love this outfit. And isn't mauve a neutral? If not it should be for you.

Yes! It works. You look so happy. Just goes to show that beautiful accessories can really make the outfit.

The jacket definitely softens the graphic print and its proportions are so flattering on you. I of course love the bag I think I would like the shoes with this dress better if the dress were at or above the knee. Otherwise this is a true inspiration and it gives me ideas on how to tone down graphic prints. Great job!

What a playful outfit, yet very chic! Mauve could be the new taupe, the way you rock it! I love the buttons on that jacket, and your dress looks great. Good show!

Love that jacket, and it does a great job of breaking up the pattern a bit to make it more casual. Looks great!

Thank you ladies!
Claire - the different buttons is one of the things I like most about this jacket. It makes it so much more unique.
Nadya - I agree that the jacket does border on being too long with dress/skirts but it's got good shape to it and although you can't tell, the back is slightly shorter than the front and has a slight corset detail which pulls the waist in.
Day Vies - I know my midi length dresses and skirts aren't everyone's fave but I'm enjoying the slightly different silhouette for now so you'll have to put up with a few outfits like this - lol!
Momo - wow! Thank you - that's very flattering.

Out of the ball park! The tight color palette is really strong with the unusual pattern of your dress.
