Thrifting Queen

WIW: Black, white & cobalt

I collected a pin of a bold black and white outfit with cobalt purse and am finally getting around to copying it (pic #5).

The outfit started with my black Earhart aviator trousers (sooooooo comfy) combined with a simple black tank, fully tucked with a black leather belt. I topped the outfit with my crisp white blazer and chose my black heeled sandals for footwear. I don't have a cobalt blue clutch like the inspiration outfit but I was able to choose my quilted cobalt/cream/black handbag for that pop of colour. I finished off the outfit with my black/white watch and silver wedding band, black/white specs and a swipe of red lipstick.

I really like the simplicity of this outfit. What do you think? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

    You really need say no more than "black, white and cobalt" to get my attention!  Very nicely done... well copied, and it looks fab on you.  I like your bag better actually, the white and black on that tie the whole thing together.

    This is lovely Shannnon. Is there anything better than black, white and cobalt? The column of colour works beautifully under the white jacket and then the cobalt bag...perfection:)

    I saw that title, and I thought, "again?"  Hee.  I wear this color combo every week, at least!

    The white jacket is fit perfection and lights up your face.  Love it all.  Do you have a snakeskin or animal print belt?  I could see it with this combo, too.

    So lovely Shannon! The wee bits of exposed skin (neckline, forearms, cutouts at the feet) provide extra interest beyond the gorgeous graphic quality of the colors. Great mix of drape and structured fabrics, too.
