WIW: Ankle pants & flats

Continuing with wearing older items in new ways, my outfit started with these EF crepe ankle pants. These have been major workhorses for the past two years.

I normally wear these rolled so more ankle shows but I actually preferred them full length in this outfit - more akin to a cigarette pant this way.

I paired the pants with this new-to-me Tahari silk overlay sleeveless blouse I thrifted last week. I absolutely love the fluidity of this blouse! The band around the neck and the under portion is black and then the overlay portion is navy with a turquoise and emerald snakeskin design on the left side. The back of the overlay is split so it hangs beautifully. Score for $11.99!

I then popped on my new black Vionic flats - the half size up arrived yesterday and they are perfect! I have never been able to wear flats comfortably so this is so exciting :)

A gold mesh Michael Kors cuff, navy vintage Coach leather handbag and red specs/red lip round out the outfit.

All comments/suggestions are welcome :)

I bought my first pair of Vionic shoes based on your posts.  They arrive next week.  I am unbelievably excited.

Love the outfit. You look fab, as usual. That blouse is a steal! Looks expensive.....right along the theory of 'get more with less'. :D

The flats are super cute. The fact they are super comfortable is such an added bonus. YLF!

What a gorgeous blouse!  It is perfect for you.  Such a find.  Love the whole outfit.  I will check out those shoes.  I have troublesome feet and have heard good things about Vionic.

    Stunning! ❤
The blouse is gorgeous and I love the back. The pants too look great at this length paired with it.
The highlights for me though would be the gold cuff and the red specs/ red lip...absolute winner! ☺

Gorgeous! What a lovely top. The details down the side and the back are fab. The pants length works fine and look very chic with you new flats. Of course your most stunning accessory...your smile says it all... you look, and obviously feel, fab!

OMG I love that top!  Major score.  And of course styled impeccably :)

Sterling - I hope the Vionic shoes work out as well for you as they do for me. Just a warning - the footbed takes a little while to get used to and they suggest you wear for just short periods at first until you feet get used to the fit. Fingers crossed!

Style Fan - these flats fit a full size too small (as indicated on the Vionic website). I'm normally a 6 but had to go with a 7 in these - just FYI.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. I will admit to feeling pretty "spiffy" today :) And in FLATS no less!

Thanks for the tip, Shannon.  I'll start out wearing them around the house for an hour or two.

Yes, yes, Shannon! You are nailing your easy elegance with edge style moniker. That top is gorgeous on you. I have those pants too, in a bunch of colours, and agree they are so versatile.

You look beautiful! I'm excited to hear about your shoes because I just bought Vionic sandals a few weeks ago and I LOVE them. I was hoping they made shoes for fall too.

Rats! I was going to ask you for a link to the blouse, but now I have to steal it from you! Such a great outfit!

Beautiful top. I want it too.

Wonderful top, the pants look great this way and the flats give a relaxed vibe to the whole thing. I'd copy this in an instant.

This is a gorgeous outfit, Shannon. I like the proportions and the lovely back detail on the blouse. The flats are very pretty and give a dressy feel. I thought of your black Naots, too (the ones I have in taupe), for a more arty, slightly more casual look.
