I guess with the fresh dump of snow we received yesterday, I will have to wear my flowers since I won't be seeing any real ones for quite some time.
I started out today's outfit with a summer frock - love the bright, bold floral pattern of this dress and the fact that the background is black, not white. I've topped this sleeveless dress with my black leather blazer and added black micro fishnets for a bit of leg warmth. For footwear, I've popped on my chunky Doc Martens Marcie boots. I love the juxtaposition of a girly dress with less refined footwear. For my handbag, I've added another pop of colour with my green handbag. I didn't put on my lipstick for these pics (my apologies!) but I will be wearing a pink shade today to go with the pink in the dress.
What do you think? does it all work together? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Spring has sprung here. Well, for a few days. Temps in the 80's since Sunday, but Friday we go back to 60 degrees. Now is that any way to have a Spring?

Brilliant, Shannon. You know I am a fusspot about seasonally inappropriate dressing. But by tying the colours (or rather, black) together, you have made this work beautifully, to my eye. Also, there is very little that can go wrong with an outfit when you put that Danier leather jacket on. It would be fun to do a CPW on that baby. I'll bet you've reduced it to something very low by now.

Suz - I'll bet the CPW on the jacket is waaaaaaay down there by now. I wear it at least once per week. And the CPW on this floral dress is probably pennies by now.
