  Ha!  Guess what page I tore out of a certain magazine the other day and have sitting on my desk right in front of me??  Lose that hat, but deliver the rest to my address asap . Even the shoes are perfect.  There is a lot of layering and volume going on here though - and look at how tiny she really is.....but I'm sticking it on my bulletin board anyways.

  Oh that is stunning: thanks for sharing. What a gorgeous version of the androgynous look. (Although I have no idea how her heels aren't sinking into the sand!)

  I LOVE this. I ditched a pair of culottes from BR a couple of years ago - I may have even posted them here and gotten a thumbs down. Dang it!

   but...how massively padded is that hat so it won't fall over her entire head? It looks like someone photoshopped it in after the shoot :\

  Janet - hahaha!  Pharrell rocks with that hat!  The hat in the ad is so ridiculously huge on her tiny little head - way too fashion forward for all of us, apparently:)

  That is how culottes are worn in my head lol.  Love this and keeping for inspiration.  I got rid of my too tight culottes in a recent purge and I definitely need new ones.

  Lisa - ok...that is just freaky!

  I figure she has to wear that freakishly large hat because she's not carrying a handbag - her cosmetics, hairbrush, cell phone, car keys, wallet and sunglasses are all tucked up there...lol!

  The clothing combination and setting are gorgeous. However, it gives me pause when it appears that the model's two ankles put together might be as wide as her chest. I realize it is inevitable with every ad or photo shoot for any American magazine, but really, that's photoshop at its finest (barely detectable, yet the proportions are... off).

  Wow, you are right, Shannon, that is a stunning culottes outfit. My second thought was as E said, those shoes on the beach?! And does anyone else notice that she is so lightweight she doesn't even leave footprints?
  Still, the outfit is inspiring.
