Oh, these are gorgeous!

I love this beautiful cordovan color and it would pick up the darker red in the dress. Please make that dress work! Boots, heeled loafers, oxfords, you've got a lot of ways to go and each would lend a different vibe.

Yummy! They remind me of the Fryes I was drooling over...

Frye Naiya Kiltie if that doesn't work.

Oh they are quite similar aren't they Una?
Vicki - you're too funny! I think you're anticipating that dress more than me - lol!
-
Vicki replied 11 years ago
LOL. Ha! Yes, but, like Suz, I could never wear it, because of the neckline. I'm part of Team Giraffe Neck! ^_^

Transcona Shannon replied 11 years ago
And I'm part of Team Almost No Neck!

I like those, but I also liked the red boots. Decisions, decisions...

The Docs are great! I like both.

I vote either whichever you are missing in your wardrobe, or whichever would be best weather-wise. If you can't wear the pretty pumps in the snow, and only in the fall then perhaps the boots might be better; if you already have lots of boots, but are lacking cold-weather pumps then the loafers might be better.
-
Transcona Shannon replied 11 years ago
What? No vote for both? (lol)

I just got notified my dress has shipped! I can't wait! I think you should assess once the dress comes Shannon.

I guess they would work very well with the b44, very well indeed :)

I am searching for burgundy (possibly patent) heeled loafers, but I'm not sure this is Doc's strongsuit. I want mine a bit more ladylike. I'm pretty sure these would be comfortable, but the Doc (yellow) stitching ruins it for me for work. I'd love to have a review of these.
To your real questions - yes they'd work with the B44 dress you ordered. No you need dark red booties TOO.
-
Transcona Shannon replied 11 years ago
Me too Ceit! I can hardly wait...I agree, I'll assess then. The dress may not work at all in which case I won't necessarily need burgundy/red footwear.
I'm actually still leaning towards the red booties.

I'll throw in the token "both" enabler vote, lol.
But yeah, evaluate when it arrives. May be more evident in real life whether a bright or subdued color would work better.

Jonesy replied 11 years ago
These are awesome! Can you comfortably handle that sort of heel height? Put me down in the both column too, just as a matter of principle :).
-
Jaime replied 11 years ago
If I wore heels...but you do!
-
Deborah replied 11 years ago
Im happy to vote for both! I do love these though. Being practical, which would fill a wardrobe hole? I don't think you have anything like these and they would be a great addition to your wardrobe:)

Love them!
