How sweet are you, Shannon. Thanks for being so appreciative, and our pleasure. Glad you have added to Finds in your way.
ROG is quite the fun little Style Toy. It's AMAZING how well many of the outfits work. It really surprised me. And although proportions may be off - the inspiration is excellent.

I am such a dolt. I thought the whole ROG thing was an April Fool's joke. Seriously. When I looked at mine for fun, up came a pair of liquid latex leggings. Really, those are not in my finds nor anywhere near them :)

ROG can be used, Lisa. Keep on generating until you see a fab outfit combination - which occurs more often than you might expect. The April Fools part of the post was me in that wacky awful outfit - and saying that I am committed to wearing the combination that ROG gives me every day - no matter what. Clearly I am not going to do that because I wouldn't wear an unflattering look. Hope that makes sense.

ROG is amazing indeed Angie! I'm one of those people who can stuck wearing the same items together in the same ensemble so this is a great and fun tool to get me out of a rut. That Greg of yours is a genius...although I suspect you already knew that :)

Shannon, I love the Finds feature. I go at least daily to see what others have collected, and then add them to my Finds, whether or not they're in my region or price range or love of natural fibers. They stay as an inspiration board until I'm ready to commit. The only thing I haven't done yet is grab a "petite" find because it feels awkward for a 5'9"er ;) BTW did you know that yoox.com ships to Canada? One of my favorite stores. It is discontinued items from mostly European designers, but I don't notice that because I always have my own thing going anyway.

Oooohhhhh...Yoox to Canada? Thanks Annabelle....well, maybe my wallet doesn't thank you - lol!

So excited to see how you make this tool work for you!

Shannon, this is brilliant. I was only putting things in my finds that I actually purchased recently or was reasonably sure that I'd purchase soon. So of course that doesn't account for all of the things I still wear from seasons past. I just went in and grabbed a bunch of finds that are similar to what I own, even if they aren't the exact items.

This is a great solution! I might try this to build an approximation of my wardrobe.

Agreeing that this is good motivation to actually beef up my finds with things I own. I also prefer the ROG over scrolling through the big list of everyone's finds. And, for a newbie like me these Outfits are almost like fashion flash cards-why does this work/not work, what do I own that I could sub, would another color/length/texture be more appropriate...and I get to analyze the items on their own without feeling like I'm judging a person.
Thanks for a fun new feature.

Shannon, I may need to do the same as most of my wardrobe is also not in the finds.
ROG is a great toy! Angie and Greg, are there any plans to enhance it? It was a joke but it may be a great tool for outfit creation without pulling everything from your wardrobe and creating a mess. And then if you can save the outfits you like as collections for future reference!

Shannon, I started to add similar items last night as well! I am enjoying the ROG immensely! Yes, THANK YOU Angie and Greg! You two continue to amaze me how you make this site so fun and user friendly! You're the best!!

I have done something similar, Shannon. I'm not totally up to date with all my items from years past, but I have added similar things as I could and it really helps.
I am going to love this feature for sure. You are so sweet to express your appreciation this way and help us all see its potential!
One suggestion that I had for Greg is some kind of way we could break it down by season. For real functionality it would need to be done that way. I have specific collections of spring/ summer and fall/winter items (example here: http://youlookfab.com/finds/co.....ection=250) ; I'd love to be able to ask the ROGue to generate an outfit from one of my specific collections to make it seasonally appropriate.
It would be even more amazing if you could use it to "add in" items you don't presently own along with what you do own. Not sure if that is clear...just imagining a function where you could start from one collection and ask it to add in "new footwear" from the general finds. Or something like that.

Whoops, I didn't even bother playing with the ROG much since I figured it would disappear after yesterday. If I had most of my wardrobe represented (or equivalent items) I can see how it would be really useful, especially on those mornings when you're brain-dead and just can't come up with anything interesting.
Being able to limit it by season or maybe some sort of 'collection', i.e. capsule would be awesome too.

LOL Don't feel too bad, Lisa. I thought the whole thing was an April Fools joke as well.
My random outfit didn't actually look too bad if you're into pattern mixing.

I thought it was made up for the joke, too (a lot of effort for April Fool's but hey, why not!). But it's a good tool with lots of possibilities - too good not to keep and use.
