Yay!! Good for you. I love eternal optimism and perkiness. You look so cute in your running outfit ... and especially after running 8 km. I ran 5 miles today (about 8 km, right? I'm no good at math!) and looked horrible afterwards. It did feel good though :)
Happy Sunday :)

By the way, cool song. I'm listening to it now. I've never heard of Iva Lamkum before.

That is wonderful, Shannon! We are having a tough weekend here - thank you for sharing the optimism, because I needed to hear a good story today. :D

Oh Rae - I'm so sorry to hear you're not having a good weekend :(
I will send extra optimism your way - I think I have some to spare.

Shannon, thanks for spreading your joy around- and giving me permission to set aside the housework and enjoy the gorgeous day we're having here. (Although I'll use any excuse to set aside housework.)

Ah, I can hear the endorphins sing in your post! I had a similar experience yesterday, and my poor husband was a little exhausted by my (uncharacteristic) perkiness at the end of the day :). Thanks for sharing the song - it's wonderful running music, and I can't wait to load this one on my iPod for my next run! Happy Sunday! x

Wow, awesome day Shannon!
It was a semi-chilly 10C here, a little nippy for the kids but we tried to play outside as much as possible today!

Thanks for your happy replies all!
JR -"run and smell the leaves" - love it!

You'll be in trouble if you stop your eternal optimism and perky fabness! I LOVE YOUR ATTITUDE.
Well done fit, strong and sumptuous Shannon :)

Ooh, ooh, runner's high! Thanks for sharing your photos and exuberance today! I had to do this yesterday - I know how you feel. Worked til mid-afternoon, called DH and said, okay if I run before I come home? It'll only be an hour. HA. I ran 6 miles, didn't get home for 2 hours. But it was glorious!
Keep up the good running... wishing you nice weather and healthy feet.

It was a glorious day wasn't it? I had company and we sat out on the deck for a few hours.
Congrats on the run.

Yay for you, Shannon - you're the best! I love a good run! Those pics are beautiful. Unfortunately, I haven't run all week due to incessant rain. And now there is snow. But I did get in a gorgeous sunny hike today at my friend's cabin. :)

High five, Shannon! What a beautiful day for a run --- and you're a trooper to go that distance.
I woke up at 6am today --- uncharacteristic of late, as I no longer manage to sleep through the night and end up really drowsy at dawn, lying abed till eight or nine. Usually, I leave my constitutional for late in the evening, since it's still disgustingly hot here (in the 90s, or 30s if you count in Celsius), autumn or not. But today, it was just cool enough to brave that rising sun.
I'm glad I did too, though I certainly did not come back looking fresh as a daisy, like you do! :-) There's nothing quite like starting the day on an endorphin high, though, is there?

I love looking at your leaf photos. I live in the desert southwest and it's still 80+ degrees here and the trees are all green. I forget that in other parts of the country/Canada, fall is in full swing already. I'm glad you had a great run!

I like an upbeat person. You make me smile.
Wow, the leaves are already changing out where you are.
