  It could be your, "tough girl," look. I really love how happy you look with these new Doc's. I always feel the same way with a great new pair of shoes.

  Shannon, I really like this on you. It's tough and tomboy but not too much so. I love the colorful top peeking out.,hinting at "don't take this toughness too seriously". A skull shirt and piercings would send a different message :)

  I like it. The boyfriend jeans counterbalance the "tough" vibe. I like your smile most of all, though; you look relaxed and happy, which is the best part!

  Love the look and I think it is totally wearable.  Probably not to your office (it would work just fine for my lab), for casual outings, why not!

  This is a great, fun look, Shannon, and I think it's totally wearable, especially with Minnie. I'm not advocating it for work, of course, but is there anyplace you'd be comfortable wearing it to on the weekend? I would (and do) wear similar things to go listen to music, meet friends for coffee at the bookstore, possibly lunch, depending on the restaurant, run errands, etc. I'd probably wear it to dinner, even, with a dressier top and jewelry.

  My small tablet picture didn't make Minnie obvious, but she's great with Docs and leather and more appropriate than My Little Pony.

  Kari - I am happy. My feet are comfy in my new Docs, it's a gorgeous day, hubby got the groceries so I could sleep in - much to be happy about :)

  Glory - these are indeed the new Docs. So much love! And thanks for the shoot out for the turquoise chairs. They were made by my father in law a long, long time ago and were the one thing my DS wanted from the family home when my FIL died. Sadly the chairs are now rotten and this will be their last summer but they hold a lot of memories of great talks, glasses of wine and my son sitting in his Grandpa's knee when he was young.

  Well all right then - there seems to be a consensus that I could wear this IRL. Maybe on a fall day for coffee with my BFF or trolling some funky neighbourhood boutiques with DH.
