Clarks version of Okala at Hudson's Bay

I had originally posted about these shoes on this thread http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....es-pending
but was unable to find them in the Clarks local store. Well lo and
behold, Hudson's Bay has them in both black and grey. It indicates heel
height of 2.5" but on the Clarks website it's 2".

I can't speak to the comfort and I haven't yet seen them in person - I probably am going to order them though to try out as Clarks do tend to work for my fussy feet. I'll update once I've tried them on.

I might need these - seriously.  Clarks work for me too.

Oh yes, they look very promising. Clarks is a lot more available than Sam Edelman for me, and I might try to get my hands on these. Do they come in any light versions?

I looked at the grey now, Shannon. It reads more as a cool beige or even nude to me. Yay! Love these.

I love the look of this shoe as well.  I did a bit of research last week and they did not get good reviews for comfort.  Quite a few people commented that the toe box was a bit narrow and cut in.  It sounded like the exact issue I have with the Okalas.  I am hoping they are wrong and that the shoes are comfortable because I would love to have a pair in the grey.  LOVE.

Please give an update with a review if you get them.

I am worried they will also be too narrow in the toe box and wish Hudson's Bay sold them in wide. They are available in wide widths at Clarks but they are not in the store yet and you can't purchase off the website.

I've gone ahead and ordered the black and will provide a review when they arrive.

Gorgeous shoes!  I hope they work for you!

I ducked into the Bay at Polo this afternoon , and no-go. Not in stock.  Darn, if the reviews are accurate, that narrow toe box and cutting into the top of the foot is also my issue with Okalas. Glad I'm not the only one. On that note, I cannot find any shoes/sandals AGAIN this year that I like or can wear.  There are a million versions of the Okala out now (Nine West, Ivanka Trump, etc all have them) and they just do not work. I am looking for an ankle strap bootie, sandal thing with a closed toe.  I now recall I went through all of this last year, and had no luck.  My own  shoe selection for summer is quickly depleting!  We need more retail options in Wpg for shoes , Shannon!

Oh - I hope these work -- they look fantastic! I am super interested in the grey. I have mixed results with Clarks (sometimes perfect, sometimes too wide). What I like about these for our climate is the closed heel -- it would make them wearable for longer (i.e. with hose). They might be less comfortable, though...gosh, I hope they work for some of us!
